After upgrading to version 5.3 of the Firmware for the 62s I now find that when the unit is powered via 12V on the USB Port (using a combination serial/12V cable) that the screen brightness dims down to the powersave type setting.. it used to stay at 100% brightness when powered by 12V.
Additionally.. when 12V is removed the unit reports that it has lost power and will be shutting down in 30secs.. except it never does. :( Leaving the batteries to go flat.
