Hello, this is most likely a known issue, but I can't find a direct thread that summarises my issue.
Is it a fact, that if I pause my Edge 200 and then say, ride 2 miles (or any given distance) that on the GPS map data it will just show a ''Straight Line'' from the point I paused, to the point I resumed?
If I need to carry my road bike along a beach, but don't want to leave the timer running as I'm concerned about the slow walking pace affecting my average speed etc. - then with this point in mind, will the only data that would be affected by pausing the timer and riding/or walking further be the GPS data (whereby it gives a straight line - which is obviously completely inaccurate and irrelevant) - and FINALLY** will the straight line itself, and the data that would be stored in the so called line, affect the Edge 200's other statistics, like speed, ascent etc.
Thank you, I know there will be experts who can quantify this in a couple sentences, if so, I owe you and you've saved much aggro.
