Garmin has really, truly abominable customer service, and apparently absolutely no software quality control. My device is essentially worthless - they've broken every interface they have, and have communicated absolutely nothing useful about when they actually intend to fix all the crap they broke with their buggy "upgrade".

For what I paid for the 610, I expect them to chase me down the street to offer excellent support. There are too many competitors out there to give my money to a company that doesn't care about having my business.

So what device companies off a better service with the same quality device? recommendations?

    oh, and don't point me to their silly announcement. Their rotten Express thing broke the ANT agent too, so even after uninstalling the ANT agent doesn't work any longer. Reinstalling it doesn't help. Garmin just isn't interested in supporting their devices and it's infuriating to me. I shouldn't have to beg for support.
