  • This faq answers your question.

  • As a feature request it would be good to get this info on agar in Connect and the app. Not just the watch.

I agree this should be viewable in GC. I've always been really baffled by the fact that my 910xt records/reports the stat but I can't analyse it in GC.
  • The information is only calculated after the device stops recording. It seems weird to record something that only happens after you've pressed stop.

I too have been looking for a way to recall the HR recovery history. Another member informed me you could do this in sport tracks software. I can confirm this software will recall your recovery heartrates but does have a bit of a learning curve. I've been trying to find additional 3rd party software to chart recovery HR but Sporttracks seems like the only one.

Has anyone figured out where to view Recovery HR history?  I can’t find it.  I think it was 23 but can not recall.

  • Hi, is there really no way to see the recovery heart rate history in the Garmin connect app?

  • Hi, I'm searching for a way to see the history of the recovery heart tate inside the Garmin connect app

Look at the daily HR graph, and check what the HR was, at the end of the activity. You can zoom the graph by selecting just a section of it, if you want to be able to find the exact spot easier.

Alternatively, when you complete the activity, do not stop it, just mark a lap (either by pressing the lap button, if enabled, or through the activity stop menu), let it run during the recovery, and stop & save the activity only when you are rested. Later, in Garmin Connect, you can edit the laps (button Edit Intervals at the bottom of the page in Edit mode), and mark the last lap as Recovery.

  • Thank you for the reply,

I have a Vivoactiv HR and this watch has a feature for measuring the recovery heart rate. At the end of a run I stop the activity but not save it. After 2 minutes the watch shows me the recovery heart rate. After this I save the activity.

And I'm wondering, if I can see the measured recovery heart rate in Garmin Connect
