Banning is normally permanent, otherwise you'll get an infraction warning if one of the mods feel it's necessary. We probably ban around a 100 a day, generally due to spammed adverts.
Mine always showed 4 since the Modern GC went online. I wish this was the only annoyance though. GC team is clearly understaffed and subpar to todays web application standards. Unless there is a big mind shift from Executives and they put more resources and talent GC will keep disappointing.
