Garmin Connect indicates three messages, but when clicked no messages appear

I keep getting a red '3' indicating I have three unread messages when logged in to the Garmin Connect web site, however when I click on messages there are none to view. Is this common, and is there a fix?

I was seeing this for about a week, but it seems to have resolved itself for me.

Hi I have just joined Garmin Connect and am using the F70. I also get the 3 messages notice in red and when clicked on it there is no messages?

Now indicating four unread messages that I can't view.

I'm getting it as well, has been happening for a couple of weeks. With everything that's wrong and not working with the 910XT, it's the least of my worries though!

It's not got anything to do with the Garmin 910. It's a web site problem. Apparently people are commenting on activities (four of them), but when I click the envelope icon to view the comments or requests there's nothing there. Web site problem with connect.garmin.com.

BTW I have zero problems with my 910XT - it's the best Garmin wrist device I've used yet.

I'm having the same problem with the ghost messages, showing 4. I checked all my uploaded events and none have any comments, so the idea that people are commenting on activities is probably not correct, at least not for me. Whatever it is, I hope they fix it soon. FYI, my 610 has been fantastic.
