Despite using the search I couldn't find a thread for this, although I'm surprised if one doesn't already exist! Maybe search terms are too generic (Garmin Connect/Update/Bluetooth?). Anyway, apologies if missed, however why can't the firmware for my Edge 510 be updated via the app on my iPhone? I have just bought a Stages power meter and that can happily be updated via the Stages iOS app using the bluetooth connection.
I love the convenience of being able to upload rides via the bluetooth link and I am incredulous as to why updating the firmware has been left out of the app! Can you shed some light on the reason why, and will this omission be addressed anytime soon please?!
