"FULL EDIT" option has stopped working on my swims.

Hi All, I'm new to the forum so sorry if anyone has asked this before.

Up until recently when I swam indoors with my 310xt I could transfer the data to my activities page and then using the "FULL EDIT" option enter the pool length, distance and so on. I have found this week this has stopped working but only on my swims, works fine on runs/bike???? I can enter the information manually but that then doesn't give me lap split times.

I have been messing around abit with the sports options on the unit itself this week and wondered if I've done something or has a link on connect broken.

Now getting a "Sorry our website is down for maintenance - error 500" message...........but it's not becuase it works on other activities.

Any ideas on how to fix would be very much appriciated.

    I think garmin broker something introducing new connect...

    Same/similar problem here. When I try to full edit on one of my runs, I get the error "Error: Sorry, but it appears that an error occurred." Other activities work fine. I emailed customer support, but they auto-responded that because I'm located in Switzerland I should contact support in Switzerland (which happens to be a nautical supply specialist that happens to to have a few Garmin product in inventory) :(

    I have the same issue with all new activities since 4/12/2014. I select "Full Edit" and get the web page with "Error: Sorry, but it appears that an error occurred." I have submitted an email to customer support and am waiting for a response.

    MACHISMIKE - I'm having the exact same "Full Edit" issue for my swims, since I do the same thing as you to try and input correct lap swim distance to get my average pace per the workout time. I'm going to try and call support in the next couple days. If I find anything out I'll post here again.

    After several days of emailing back and forth with Garmin customer support, here is what I was told about the "Full Edit" issue (no yet fix, but they acknowledge it as a known issue):

    "Thank you for contacting Garmin International.

    At this time we are actually aware of this issue in Garmin Connect. I apologize as I do not have a time frame as to when this could be corrected.
