Message "Could not save, please check your values and try again"

I am trying to log in to my garmin connect account. I put in a display name (just started asking for me this yesterday) and it tells me "Could not save, please check your values and try again". And I can't log in. Any advice or help would be sincerely appreciated.

Yep - same on my end. Encountered this afternoon for the 1st time.

Garmin - what's happening here? I cannot view my workouts just now and this is very frustrating.

Same here, cannot login. Email is a gmail.com address if that makes any difference

Should Garmin respond here? Who will let us know? I am having the same issue, how about a hint, let us know what this even is all about? I have been using garmin connect for a few years, I thought I already had a username. This is so frustrating, you just never know what you are going to get when you try logging in anymore. Who signs off on this crap?

My reply here indicates that it recognizes me as JVOCLV, so why not when I type that in?
