I cannot enable or disable Elevation corrections on Garmin Connect

I am using a EDGE 510 and by default elevation corrections are disabled, some activities are and some are not! Why can I not change this? seems to have happened since the new features started.

Garmin do not seen the easiest company to contact with regards to technical issues!
