"Elevation Corrections" settings (Enabled/Disabled) NOT working

I own a Garmin Fenix and I use Garmin Connect daily. My Garmin device has and uses an internal altimeter to calculate elevation changes and as such, Elevation Corrections should be disabled by default. That's what is stated ion your help forum as well. However, when I checked my latest run, Elevation Corrections was enabled AND I was unable to disable it as the "disabled" button was/is not active. A friend of mine had a similar issue in that he was unable to switch between enabled/disabled for his device (though no internal altimeter). Please fix this ASAP. I've been a long time customer and while I've accepted that you will never ever add a "Shoe Tracking" feature no matter how loud customers scream for it, another nonfunctioning feature would be very disappointing. It kinda defeats the purpose of an altimeter, if Garmin Connect doesnt allow me to record the data with those altimeter readings. Thanks.

Having the same issue. Garmin, PLEASE FIX THIS !!
  • I seem to have the opposite problem with the Forerunner 620 - in Garmin Connect - Elevation Correction is disabled - but despite being able to click on "Enabled" in the Elevation Correction tab in Garmin Connect it will not become enabled! GARMIN - WHAT THE **** ARE YOU DOING.......or maybe - WHAT ARE YOU NOT DOING?? - and - if you actually follow any of these threads - why are there SO MANY UNHAPPY BUNNIES on the Forerunner 620 site who, having shelled out a silly amount of money for a flagship running watch, are having SO MANY PROBLEMS?
  • We've notified the Garmin Connect team of this issue. Sorry for any inconvenience this is causing.
