Having used a work around (prepare course on mapmyride/export GPX/copy to newfiles folder) whilst Garmin fixes the problem with inability to send new courses to my Garmin Edge 810, I did a great ride yesterday. My device worked well and gave me TBT instructions even when off road, on a canal/river side track. It even told me to turn left over a suspension bridge as opposed to just turn left. It was a suspension bridge (how does it know that?).
My problem is when I got back and plugged my device in, it automatically triggered off Garmin Express to 'sync' my device with Garmin Connect. It then said to click on the task bar 'balloon' to see my uploaded ride. Whenevr I do this I get the message:
WEB PAGE HAS A REDIRECT LOOP.
This is no great hardship as I was able to open up a new GC browser window from scratch and viewed my last ride fine.
I thought it best to flag this problem in case it is all part of GE's 'idiosyncrasies' or whether someone can tell me what I or my laptop is doing wrong?
Same here - If I click the notification bubble from the system tray I get a URL that ends up with Chrome giving me the "Website has a redirect loop" message. I can still just go to connect.garmin.com and access all the features of Garmin Connect just fine - I just can't do it from clicking on the notification from Garmin Express.
I've get "This webpage has a redirect loop" on OSX 10.9 with Chrome whenever I click on "Sync complete. View data at Garmin Connect." It has done it since installed it in April. I always end up manually typing in "garminconnect.com" into my the address bar.
Was there ever a fix to this? I've been getting the redirect loop for around a year, and patiently awaiting a fix. But still nothing with updated software, and I'm not finding any solutions around. I've cleared cookies, added it to safe sites, etc. Anyone find a fix for this?
