uninstall new stuff and go back

I was really looking forward to the updates, but the new Garmin Express thing doesn't work. It installed ok, paired ok, it SAYS it syncs, but my workouts won't upload to Connect from my device any more.

Can someone provide instructions for how to uninstall this mess and go back until this new thing actually starts working?

    I find myself very, very pleased that Amazon will let me update my purchase review. Support doesn't answer the phone, and submitted a support case via web form informs me that someone will get back to me the THREE DAYS. At the price of this device, I expect this device to work every single time I turn it on, and I expect the vendor to test and SUPPORT their updates and issues. This is infuriating.

    I'm having the same issue...all my past data is gone! :(
  • Uninstall Garmin Express

    Reinstall Ant Agent - repair (unless you have kept the old Device folder in which case copy that over the top of the new one created by ANT Agent)

    Reinstall Garmin Communicator

    Thanks, Philip. I'll give it a try, although I've uninstalled, reinstalled, begged, rebooted, etc over and over. So far as I can tell, what's failed is the updates to the device itself - when I reconnect, it tells me I need the update, it installs, it still doesn't work, then asks me if I want to install the update. Again.
  • I've just reinstalled Express as I had seen that local storage of data is now in place.

    I just threw it on the Mac without uninstalling anything, Paired the device and all went well. Except for the 4th install of the device software again! Express clearly does not/is not reading the device for software status - or is it just Garmin wanting to force the latests updates on us.

    Anyway, local data is stored, does delete from the device if ticked and appears to work well with the 910XT. Guess I'll leave it on my computer for a while, but leave her indoors running ANT Agent on the other computer for a while.

    I am assuming issues with Garmin Connect are down to not having the new site available here as yet. Not a big deal for me as I do not use GC anyway other than updating training zones and sending them to my device. Currently, I cannot change my training zones on GC or communicate with GE from GC. I am hopeful that this will resolve itself when the GC update appears up here in New Zealand.
