Garmin, after a couple of uploads that has the Elavaton automatically enabled, the last upload switched to automatically disabled, again, mysteriously, without any changes to my 310XT. And web page's Enable/Disable buttons still don't work. When do you plan to do something, Garmin?!!!
I have the same problem with elevation corrections. Sometimes it comes up "enabled" and sometimes "disabled". In either case, clicking on the other choice does nothing.
Here is the reply from Garmin to the case that I submitted:
"Thank you for contacting Garmin International. I'd be glad to assist.
I am sorry to hear of any issues concerning your Garmin Connect experience. Garmin Connect is undergoing major changes and, unfortunately, has encountered some issues along the way. We are aware of these issues concerning elevation correction and are working diligently to correct them. We understand any frustration and apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.
In the meantime, I recommend clearing all history, cookies, cache, temporary internet files, and/or try using another web browser entirely. This will prompt the web browser to rid itself of all its expired web information and allow web pages to update and load properly."
Typical Garmin response, blaming it on user's computer and web browser, asking user to spend their own time experimenting to find a workaround.
After a couple weeks of all my runs uploading with Elevation Correction default to Enabled, from my FR310XT, as it should, the latest one went back to Disabled again, and still without the ability to toggle from the web page. Maybe Garmin is tweaking stuff behind the scene, but maybe find a way to test that it works before messing with user's actual data? every time it just looks more and more like Garmin doesn't have a clue or doesn't give a duck.
