Player Balloon does not connect with route line

When I display my downloaded route on garmin.connect the start balloon does not lie on the route line. When I play the route it tracks it but is disconnected from the red route line on the graphic.

I have noticed this since I began using a MAC instead of a PC.

I'm having the same problem on both my iMac and Macbook hence the bump!. When I open my Connect profile on my work PC the balloons and traces marry up exactly so I think this is an Mac specific problem, are many others seeing this issue?
