hight range

Don't you think this hight range is strange? -200 m seems to far too low for running, IMHO ;-). The difference between the lowest point and the peak is app. 45 m, and the scale range is > 400 m. Far too much, I think.
I would like to have the scale range from app. minimum up to maximum. This way one would be able to evaluate diffilculty of the race. Now it looks very flat. Compare it with what Google Earth gave me for the same race.

Sincerely,
Dominik
  • for the distance you are going the Garmin graph look more representitive to me of what you will encounter considering we are viewing 19 km all at once. The other graph being exaggerated on the y axis to much for me makes it more difficult for me to assess the overall 'feeling' of how my ride will be.

However I have noted in the past my graphs do change the scaling ratio of the y axis slightly when you change your units from metric to statue. I find the statue look slightly better. But differing ride lengths and areas with greater or lesser elevation change might have differing results.
