Send a runned activity to EDGE

You want to copy activity files back to your edge? If so, then I'd think it easier to save the activity files from your edge to a drive your pc/mac, then you can copy them back to the folder on your edge when you need them again.

I save all my activity files to my pc. I've got a batch file that copies them and others for me with just a click of an icon. That allows me to feel safe that I don't have to worry with Garmin, Strava and others losing them.

Today i go with my bicycle for one activity with friends. If tomorrow i would like to do the same street i have to save the activity like a course, and then i can sand it at my edge. I would like find an easy way and if possible without using PC, like: open the activity in smartphone end click sent at edge.

If I understand you correctly, you want to follow the path of a previous activity. And you want to be able to get that activity to your edge without having to connect it to your computer, preferably with your smartphone. Correct?

As for following your previous activity, I guess you must be converting them to courses on your edge. I don't use a model that has maps, but I don't think edges with map display previous tracks on the map. If I'm wrong, please let me know. I know they can be turned into courses and displayed, but that's not quite the same thing. I think your only choices are to do as I suggested in my first post, or to send a coursed from Garmin Connect or another site that was made from your activity.

I do not know of any way to get the activity or course from your smartphone and put it on your edge, unless your smartphone is capable of connecting to the edge via the usb and sees it as a storage drive.
