cannot access my account - it demands i create one

I have just spent an hour trying to access my garmin connect account to upload data but it keeps redirecting to a page suggesting that i create an account, despite it saying i am logged in whenever i click the my dashboard tab it takes me to http://connect.garmin.com/exceptions and demands i create a new account.

After calling customer support and speaking with Adrian in the UK I have managed to solve it and log in so i can save my data
