Edge 705 -One ride does not upload

I have a ride in two laps which I can clearly see on my Garmin Edge history.
Details:
9 Feb
Time: 5:09:41
Distance: 100.3 miles
Avg spd: 19.44 mph
Max: 28:83
etc
It simply will not load up. It is not 'there' according to both Garmin Connect and Strava.
But it is there and I can see it. I have loaded rides since then and before. But not this one.
I use a Mac by the way and have had this issue on one previous occasion.
What can I do?

Did you try resetting the timer? Then when it's connected to your mac, browse over to it with finder and look to see if there is an activity file there and that it has some size to it. If not you are likely out of luck. You did start the timer? No timer running = no log file to upload.

If there is a file, try a manual upload. Failing that, post the file in the forum for your device and maybe someone will see if they can fix it.
