Track Shoes Mileage

Any plans to add a feature to track shoes mileage on Connect Garmin? Many fitness sites have this feature now and it would be great if i don't have to use another site to track my mileage per pair. :D
  • That's not an existing feature...that's just a work around using existing Garmin Connect features. Try out Strava if you want to see how to properly track gear/equipment...add shoes, retire shoes, etc.

@Parklyfe: unless I'm missing something, that workaround doesnt do the trick when you use multiple shoes in rotation, or does it?

One workaround that I have found is this: I'm assigning one 'event' to each shoe (eg Mizuno17=fitness; Sayonara=recreation), which allows me to mark it on each and every run, and report directly on it by using the Summary Report by Events (over the last 12 months). That does the trick well - because I don't need real 'event tracking' that is. Still inexcusable of Garmin not to have the proper feature though...
