810 Can Not Connect to Garmin Conencto or anything else

My computer does not recognize my 810 Windows 7 64 bit. I had no issues connecting to my 800. I can not connect to it under any programs. When I plug it in I get this USB error. I have updated Garmin Communicator and the USB pluggins.

Any suggestions.

apparently not. Why haven't you contacted Garmin Support by now? If it's a new unit take it back to where you purchased it and try another, or Garmin Support will send you another if it's under warranty and they can't solve the issue.

I had the same problem with my 500 and one day it just stopped being recognized. After re-installing the Garmin USB driver, the Garmin plug-in and deleting the USB ports, my Windows 7 x64 laptop still would not see my device. I finally fixed it by repairing my Microsoft .NET Framework in control panel. When in control panel, go to Uninstall or Change program and highlight the .NET app. Then click Uninstall/Change and you get another pop-up that let's you fix and restore. This fixed it for me.
