Create New Personal Records

This option is so basic that I don't even know why it wasn't included in the first place. Why should we only follow records that Garmin predeterminates? We should have the option to create and follow new personal records for 6k, 8.5k, or whatever we wanted.

I agree!! 40K is the only PR for speed in cycling. It would be great to add more options and also to keep a running track of times for previously completed courses/rides. My cycling is done on country roads that have widely variable distances depending on the route I take that day.

In addition, 40K is not a standard distance in cycling. Organized group rides are generally a Century, Half, and sometimes less for newer riders (100K or 50K). Training rides are done over varying distances.

it would be great to have these as selectable fields, i know plenty of fell runners that would love to have 'max elevation gain' as a record :)
