In no particular order, these are areas where I think that Garmin Connect needs to be enhanced. Many other sites already do them and I'm surprised that they are not already on the Garmin Connect site.
* Do something about the graphs on the actvities page.
- Right now they are quite useless. E.g. the elevation chart has a min y-axis value of -200m and a max of +200m. 99 times out of 100 the elevation chart looks like a flat line because of this. Make the scaling smarter on ALL charts.
* Add Cooper Test as a personal record.
- I (and many others) think this is a pretty interesting kpi to keep track of.
* Show time in HR zones.
- Show a graph of how much time I spend in each HR zone for an activity. In addition to this it would be nice to have a colored backgound on the HR chart showing segments for each zone. I think Polar does this quite nicely on their site.
* Allow to export more than 20 records.
- When I go to Activities->Analyze I see a nice list of my activities. When I try to export these activities I get a csv file with only the first 20 records, i.e the first page. I want to be able to export everything that is returned on that list.
* Add a total sum at the bottom of the Activities->Analyze table.
- Depending on how the list looks like (what I search for etc) it would be good to see the total sum of each column.
* Add more charts to reports.
- I want to be able to get a quick overview of my activities. Reports in text form are nice but bar/line charts are better for spotting trends. E.g. a bar chart showing my mileage per month etc. This should go for most dimensions that are available like avg HR, time, distance pace, weight (already available) etc.
* Add equipment tracking.
- I want to be able to track my shoes, bikes etc. Right now I tag all my activities wit e.g. #BPF(1) for my first pair of Brooks Pure Flow. This works but proper equipment tracking would be very useful.
