I am trying to set up a new trip in my 2597, in the Create A Trip feature. I have the start point, way point, and destination addresses in the unit already. I select HOME as the start point, then hit the + sign in the upper left corner. Then I can select from ADDRESS or CATEGORIES. I selected CATAGORIES so I could go to GAS STATIONS. I get a list of gas stations near me. I enter Chevron in the upper left corner and then get a list of the Chevron gas stations near me. How do I get a list of Chevron gas stations in the city (55 miles away) I want to use as a way point?
Tried to follow the instructions on a video on You Tube, but the way point being used in this video is only a few miles away from the start address, so it is easy to find.
