connecting new course developed in Garmin Connect with Forerunner 220?

Can courses developed in Garmin Connect be synced with Forerunner 220? I first day out with my new watch and it only recorded a portion of the run... Mapped it in Garmin Connect but am having problems getting it recognized by my Forerunner 220. Many Thanks. wfyl
