Migrating tracks from Magellan eXplorist XL to Garmin Montana 650t

I have tracks from my Magellan eXplorist XL that are very important to me. On that device, there is some third-party software that allows adding those tracks to my Magellan map file such that it is part of the map. This is great.

My Magellan eXplorist XL is showing its age and I'd like to migrate those tracks to a new device. After a little research, I'm looking very closely at the Garmin Montana 650t. The reasons are:
1) Big display,
2) Topo maps (for off-road)
3) Compatibility with EasyGPS -- which is also compatible with my old Magellan eXplorist XL so I can convert my tracks.

My questions are:
1) How good do tracks look when displayed on a Montana 650t. That is, are they good/visible/intuitive for following trails? Can somebody provide a screenshot?
2) Does anybody have experience migrating tracks with EasyGPS? Will that do the job?

Thanks in advance.
