Elevation error from device to Garmin Connect

I have a new Garmin Edge Touring and been on my first planned course today.

We did a hilly 37 mile ride and the summary of the ride was shown on my device. It is showing an elevation of 1082 metres (spelt meters). I uploaded it to Garmin Connect and all the stats are the same as shown on the device except for the ascent. It is only showing 819 metres of ascent.

Does anyone know why this happens.

Sorted it myself.

There is a correction enable/disable one Garmin Connect. With it disabled it shows the elevation shown on the Touring device.
