Garmin Connect Profile box is blank

Hi
I'm trying to edit my profile on Garmin Connect but when I click the 'edit profile' button on my profile page it transfers my to a webpage which has 'Profile / Personal Information / Display Preferences' etc. down the side as links and the profile box is completely blank. If I click one of the other links the information appears in the box relevant to that link. Only the Connect Profile link is blank.

I have refreshed the page a lot. I use Firefox so I have tried it with IE but it is the same. I have checked I have the latest Garmin Communicator plugin (I don't know if this makes any difference).

Has anyone else had this problem? What can you suggest?

Thanks
Dave

p.s. oh great. I have just realised that this has posted my email address and I can't delete it. Bloody brilliant. Now every spambot in the world is going to target my account. Thanks Garmin.
  • In Internet Explorer 11, press ALT to get the menu bar to appear. Then click Tools | Internet Options. On the Security tab, click the Internet icon. Click the button labeled 'Custom level...'. Find the option 'Enable Mixed Content' (just over halfway down) and choose 'Prompt' or 'Enable' and then click OK. The default value is 'Prompt', so I'm guessing that you or some software you're using changed it.

Now when you go to your profile page, you should see a popup allowing you to show mixed content (if you selected 'Prompt'), or the content should just appear (you selected 'Enable').

The option should be in the same place for IE9 and 10. I can't tell you what to look for in FireFox, but the correct option shouldn't be too difficult to find.

Thanks for your response. I followed the instructions and the setting was already set to enable. I changed it to prompt and back again but with no success. Fortunately it does work on my iPad so I can change the profile information from there.
