Problem with 2014 Activities?

Garmin Connect won't load my ride from this morning (Jan 02). It sees the ride but just sticks at 'Uploading...'. It happily loads all the other rides in my Edge 500 (the latest of which was on Dec 31), and this morning's ride uploads fine at Strava.

The thing that makes me think it might be a Garmin Connect problem is that this morning's ride also doesn't load into Garmin Training Centre (on my Mac). I know GTC is no longer supported by Garmin, but it still works for me, and has loaded all my rides up to and including Dec 31, but it doesn't seem to recognise this morning's ride, and GC stalls trying to load it, yet there's not problem at Strava.

Has anyone else seen this with post-2013 activities?

It uploaded my ride just fine from my edge500. It was roughly an hour ago when I uploaded. If you are in a hurry, you might export your ride from Strava, then manually upload it to GC. I've done that a few times for other issues.

I guess that means it's just me. Maybe a hiccup with some piece of ride data that Strava ignores.

If your try exporting the file from Strava, but GC still balks at it, then you can upload the original .fit from your 500 it to this thread in the 500 sub-forum and maybe someone with the fitfilerepairtool will fix it for you. https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?31219-Fix-corrupt-FIT-file

I exported a gpx file from Strava and GC uploaded it with no problems. :_)

Interesting. What date was your ride? I just tried again with this morning's (04 Jan) ride, and GTC worked as expected, but it still skipped over the 02 Jan ride.
