Sending Workouts to device...

I've setup a workout and am trying to send it to my Edge 500.

Garmin Connect finds the device, but once I select it, I just get Preparing Workout with a status bar which doesn't fill.

Tried this a few times now over the last couple of days with no success.

Any ideas?

thanks in advance...

I'm having exactly the same problem sending to my edge 800.
    Is it my PC?
    any comments greatly appreciated.
  • Yep same here on my 620, very frustrating. After a couple of seconds I get an error on page message at the bottom of the screen and then that's it hung. Strangely though it's hit and miss (more miss), this morning I managed to download 2 workouts but then I started getting this error again. When I tried before around the 20th Dec, I managed one download before the error started.

Could this be a browser issue? I'm using Internet Explorer on my PC.

    Thanks
  • This may well be browser related. I have just tried it again through Chrome and it seems to work fine. Have just downloaded 4 workouts onto my 620 straight off the bat no issues. Previously I was using IE 8.0.7601.17514.

I did have to install the Garmin connector plugin for Chrome from within the Chrome browser as this seems to be a browser specific application, it couldn't detect the IE installation already on my PC.

Been having the same issues with my new 910XT just now. Renamed the workout a couple of times and then it magically worked. Currently using IE 11, but will try some other browsers later and see if that helps get some consistency
