Proximity alarms only in english miles on a GPSMAP62stc

Unit: GPSMAPstc, Program version: 4.00
When I am using proximity alarms and add an alarm the text said after I chose type of point (waypoint, POI etc) that I should give the radius in english miles but my setup in the unit is that "distance and speed" should be in metric.
Some ideas for solution?

The units for the proximity aren't controlled by the distance settings in the settings menu, but in the proximity alarms menu. Don't know the exact menu item, but there you should find the option to change it.

I just push the menu button in the proximity alarm page. Found the setting directly. Many thanks Javawa.
