I just started the 1/2 marathon BP training schedule from garmin connect and find that the calendar workouts, specifically the target hr zones don't match with what the watch says. For instance, the calendar for today shows an easy 45 minute run in zone 2 with a rate of 111-129. But my watch says it should be between 130-140. Why the discrepancy?
In my profile I have resting rate at 58 and max of 176, this lists the zones as follows.
Z1 85-104
Z2 105-122
Z3 123-141
Z4 142-157
Z5 158-176
So these don't even match up to watch either, thanks in advance and Merry Christmas!
