Power zones and max average not working in Connect

I'm using a Quarq power meter, recording on a Garmin 705 and uploading to Connect. I'm using Safari and Firefox on a Mac with the same issue on both.

I've set my various power zones in the settings.

When I upload details of a ride, the power graph shows all readings in Zone 1 and Zone 2 on the left hand scale, even though the actual recorded power outputs fall into Zones 1 to 5. Also, the 'Max average' buttons on the graph that allow you to select the '5 secs, 1min, 5mins, 10 mins, 20 mins or custom' simply don't work - you click on them but the 'none' button remains grey and nothing on the graph changes.

Has anyone else had the same issues?

Any help appreciated!
  • Max average power not workiing with Garmin 705 and connect

similar issue, I have a Garmin 705 recording power data from a Powertap. Max average power buttons for various durations not active in connect and TSS not calculated.

I have a Garmin 500 that I am not using at the moment, but all the old rides from the 500 display the TSS and the max average buttons work, which tells me that it is not the browser or connect itself. Must be something to do with the file itself from the 705.

I also am using a 705, though with a PowerTap G3, and when uploading to Connect cannot use the "Max Average" function on the graph.

I see no one has replied to this thread in the past 7 months so I guess there is no solution. It's just the way it is.
