How do I convert the Dashboard to Metric

My 910XT measures in metric but sends to Garmin connect in Statute measure I caanot seem to convert to Metricm
help?

Click on your username in the top right, and choose "Settings". Then you can set the measurement units to metric. This page: http://connect.garmin.com/settings

similar issue

My 510 displays in metric and Garmin Connect displays ion metric. When I e-mail a course the recipient receives distances etc in miles not kms. any ideas how to rectify this?
