Can't upload Virb data to Connect

I'm having problems uploading rides from my Virb Elite to Garmin Connect.
After pressing upload, I can see the Virb as a connected device. When I press upload new activities or select activity it says 'reading activities from Virb Elite', please wait. And I'm still waiting. I can navigate to the files OK and I can import everything into Virb Edit OK. Can anyone help with this issue.

Running an IMac with OSX mavericks.

Manual upload works fine. Communicator Plugin doesn't work with the VIRB for some reason.

I did manual upload, but still cannot work.....always keep waiting, pls advise
