Because the connect site doesnt display elevation very accurately for new courses I wrote a FIT file parser to output the FIT format to GPX so that I can view the course in Google Earth. Each time I output the file though the course would show the original route and not the new updated one.
Fairly confident my parser was working as expected I sent the course to my Forerunner 310Xt and confirmed the same result. When viewing the map on the device it was clear that the original course had been uploaded.
Does anyone know how to correct this or what has gone wrong with the update course? Its very curious that it displays correctly in connect but doesnt upload correctly to the device because of issues with the outputted FIT file format. It almost looks like there are now two copies of the course and the one being output to FIT format is always the original, not updated one.
I would like to use my course for a weekend run but its near useless to me if I cannot make use of it on my device.
