62s problems

Hi ,im new to the world of GPS ,ive recently bought myself a 62 s and im having a few problems with it ,im hoping someone out there may be able to help

problem 1.. the unit keeps switching itself off

problem 2..when im out and have a route on my GPS , I always have a red line that goes back to my home ,and I cant get rid off it

problem 3.. I often get shaded pink lines coming from my waypoints that I cant get rid off

    thanks for the quick reply MARIOMOBIEL ,ive done as advised for problem 1 ,fingers crossed that's it fixed ,as for the solutions to problems 2 and 3 , ive clicked onto the link and cant find anything in the manual to help me solve the problems :confused:
  • As for #2 and #3 ...
    If your have an active route (you are navigating), you may see two colored lines.
    One extends from your starting point or the latest waypoint to the destination
    A thinner line extends from your current position to the destination.
    In my case, they are both purplish pink in color.
    If you "Stop Navigation" they go away. I'm not aware of a way to suppress the appearance of these lines while you are navigating a route.

    An observation with my 62s when navigating an active route and I'm assuming this was what you are observing.
