I was able to put the Garmin Calendar on to Google Calendar, but my jogging session (which shows on GarminConnect), does not show up on the Google Calendar. The training calendar shows up, but not the recorded jogging session. Is it suppose to show up? Thanks
  • Only the workouts in your training plan are included in the calendar export. There is no active synchronization of activities or workouts between the calendars.

Why not That would be a very helpful tool to have a record of the progress made in my google calendar used on a daily basis.

  • Another vote for this. I hate having to manually input my workouts into Google Calendar, and would love to have the "log" in there, as I don't want to have to look in two places to see activity history (garmin, and non-garmin stuff). You could make it an option when publishing the calendar, if you don't want it as the default option.

I think it will be a cool feature.

  • Believe this and many other pieces of data are in the Garmin Health API which Garmin seems to only want to provide access to enterprises and not give access to this data to individuals (guess, they only want the money).  Fitbit and Google Health give access to this data.  They better be careful because companies like Fitbit went into irrelevancy with the advent of the Apple Watch.  Now, some generic BT sensors (plus, all of the new cycle computers) are going on bikes and other things which could be easily integrated into smartphones bypassing the need for Edges.  Other than the high-end watches, where is Garmin's market going ?  And this is from someone who left Polar many years ago (because they were way to proprietary) owning an 810, 1030, Swim and Vivosport (and chewed through multiple Vivosmarts before getting the best solution, a Vivosport - but yet no Vivosport 2.0 ?).  If Apple decided, they could step on Garmin pretty easily by going after the high-end athlete market ----  Apple Watch is an easy platform to do it from.

  • Does anyone know if Garmin has even looked at incorporating this feature?

It seems it's still only the scheduled training that shows up and not previously logged activities.

Where can we vote for this feature to be added?
