Hi guys, I bought nuvi 2557lmt and it says that it's limited to 100 routes. Is there a work around for this? Is it possible to add more than 100 routes somehow?

Thanks

I don't own a nuvi (I own a Montana 650). That being said: Unless you can archive the routes (something you can do on the Montana series)....
One option might be to use Basecamp: Offload the routes onto Basecamp for safe keeping, before deleting them on the unit. ~ Probably not the answer you were looking for.

Well I have the routes in basecamp I just would like to have them all on garmin also. What would happen if I would insert memory card? Would that allow me to increase capacity for the routes?
  • No.

Unfortunately it's a limitation of that nuvi. On my old 1490 I can store hundreds of routes and just import the ones I want. On newer nuvis with trip planner it's an automatic import. Once it's full it's full.

By full you mean 100 routes? Or as long as I have room in nuvis memory?
