My 265WT doesn't work in middle east

Hi-

Recently I have installed middle east maps on my garmin 265wt. But wen I was the middle east (Turkey), the unit kept telling that it couldn't find satellite any where I went. I know the unit works well in the States and Europe (I bought Europe maps last year). Does anyone have any suggestions?

Of course it will work. I suspect you didn't give it enough time. If you last had it switched on in the US it will take a while to work out where it is.

If u travel more than 100K with the unit switched off, it can take up to 30min before u get a solid fix. Best thing is to leave it outside with a clear view of the sky. Also make sure your unit is running the lasted firmware.
