due to an intermittent problem uploading rides from my 510 to garmin connect I was advised to return the device to factory settings by garmin. I have since noticed my distance shows on the device as ft is this correct.
Until your distance exceeds a certain amount, it will show as feet on your device. It should change to a fraction of a mile after you've covered enough distance. But if you've gone over a tenth of a mile, then somethings up.
