Have been using garmin connect for over 6 months with my forerunner 10 with no issues. Bought the 310xt and connected it yesterday to my existing connect account. Did park run this morning and run transferred ok to the account. Now the problem - from the dashboard the runs do not load - every thing else does - my feed, goals and records but the 5 previous run including my one from my new watch just keeps saying loading. I cant click on any of the runs. From the activities tab I can click on my run from this morning but the map nor the the graphs underneath load. all the info on the left hand side does. Also I cant click on the share button - its not grayed out (I had this problem when I first set up the account) but when I click on it nothing happens.

Does anyone have any idea whats wrong? Did I do something when I registered my new device yesterday?

  • Are you using Internet Explorer? What version? If you're using Internet Explorer 9 or 10, many functions of Garmin Connect simply will not work. Many pages will display the "loading" message and nothing will happen. Setting the Garmin Connect site to "compatibility view" will emulate an older browser version, thereby allowing you to continue to use Microsoft's latest browser, without having to use Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. You should be able to see the blue icon next to the address bar. Looks like a torn piece of paper. If it's blue, then it's enabled. If it's gray, then it is not enabled. If you click on it, it will turn blue, designating that compatibility view is enabled. If you enable while on connect.garmin.com, then it will always be enabled for Garmin Connect on IE 9 or 10.

    Thank you for that - I am using firefox. will have a look at the settings.

    I've had the exact same problem and have been in contact with support about it for four months. No luck so far.

    You may find, that your share button works if you go to "splits" og "player".

    I have tried 3 different browsers and different computeres and networks. I'm pretty sure, it's a Garmin Connect problem.
