has anyone had problems with their oregon 6oo since the last update, My oregon is now slower at drawing maps, geocache is out by 50ft and slow, the battery life was 16 hours and now its 4 hours, the unit is only good as a paper weight.
I have a Oregon 600 running the latest firmware with no problems what so ever. Try a master reset, and some fresh battery's, don't forget to back-up the data u don't want to be lost.
Master reset:
- With the Oregon 6xx powered off, press and hold the user button and cycle the power button. - The Oregon 6xx will begin the boot process. - When prompted "Do you really want to erase all user data?", select [Yes]
