It would be great if when using the Edge 510 / 810 connected to iPhone using bluetooth if it could display phone text messages received on Edge display ...
or if it is not possible for Garmin Connect App to interface with iPhone messaging then an alternative would be an interactive Live Track. When users are invited to view a Live Track they could be given an option to send a message from the Live Track Web Interface. This message would be displayed on the Edge device ... e.g. 'Great going keep up that speed', or 'Got to go out, see you at home after 6'.
