LiveTrack keeps dropping out

I've had a Garmin 510 for about six months. Initially, the LiveTrack function worked fine. I could use my phone for other purposes (checking messages or emails, etc.) and it work keep the connection to the 510.

However, for the past months, the connection keeps dropping. This problem seems to have started after I upgraded the phone to IOS7. At first, it seemed to only happen when I switched to another app (Mail, Messages, etc.), but recently the connection drops for no apparent reason.

Anyone else having this problem?

    Yep loads are having same issue, look at 510 and 810 forums, also look at the Garmin Connect iOS App reviews.

    The latest version of the app on iPhone keeps crashing and has broken live track - I am pretty sure it is an issue with the latest version of the app ... would be nice for Garmin to comment and assure us people who bought the shiny new 510 / 810 hardware that they will get the software sorted so we can use them properly ... Please????

    Forgot to mention, don't know if anyone from Garmin is reading because there have been no responses as yet to the reported iOS App issues, but I am an iOS developer and have access to the crash logs on my phone for the Garmin Connect app if you guys are interested? Would also be happy to help in any beta app testing to try and get these issues resolved.
