No, it has a Garmin serial number. You might want to contact Garmin Customer Support to see whether a GPS bought outside Germany would still be under warranty and repairable/replaceable via a German dealer :confused:
This is what the UK website says, note the repair etc is via Garmin International so I suspect the warranty is world wide, but best to seek confirmation.
I can confirm what Sussamb says, your warranty is worldwide. U can buy your Etrex20 where ever u like, and if there is a problem with it, u can send it in for repair or replacement in Germany.
