Newbie Question: How do you manually set time and date on a Garmin Oregon 650t?

The only setting I can find is for 12/24 hour time formats, and which time zone to use. The only thing I can find in the user manual says that time is calculated automatically. Unfortunately, it's Saturday, Oct. 26, 2300, but my Garmin says its 0600 Oct. 20.

How can I fix this?

Has the Oregon got a satellite fix? Once it has the time will be corrected.

Get a GPS connection outside, I t updates the time true satellite connection. When it knows where it is, it displays the time correct.

Ok! Will do that! So meaning every time I go indoors, I won't be able to tell the time correctly on my Garmin? :confused: That's... not very nice hahahaha ;)

Depends on whether or not you have an adequate satellite signal. Frequently you don't inside, but then again sometimes you won't outside either. Nice has nothing to do with it.
