Heart Rate spikes

Any way of 'smoothing' these out of your data on Garmin Connect. Always get one or two, however careful I am with straps and the like. Would be great to be able to remove these spikes to view my actual max HR
  • No way on Garmin Connect, don't know about other sites. But how accurate do you need to know your max? You can always hover your mouse pointer over the graph on the one you think is the max and read the data in the flyout box.

If you want to make a little effort to eliminate bad data after the fact, then get the fitfilerepair tool (google it) and modify the file and re-send it to G.C.

I very seldom have any spikes with my strap. So maybe you just need to wear it slightly higher or lower.

Thanks. Think maybe my chest strap has 'had its chips' I will look up the filerepeair tool. I know about the hover function, but I just like my data neat and tidy! Thanks again
