Virtually any gps will get you within 30 feet. From then on, it's a matter of looking around. If you think you need more accuracy, then your 'not very expensive' goes out the window.
If you are in cell phone range and have a smartphone, it'll likely get you just as close as any dedicated gps. In my opinion, no particular brand is going to put you reliably near that stake any better than another. If this is just a one time deal, then any will do.
If this is something you need to do as part of your job or some weird overwhelming mania, then you might look at the Montana's and Oregon's by garmin. I think the UI will make up for the extra cost.
