Where did my activity go?

I created a course yesterday, sent it to my Edge 810, started the course and a live activity so my wife knew where I was on my ride. No problems during the ride, the activity ended when I got back home and the course was over, and it said it uploaded the ride to Garmin Connect via my phone. The live activity was there with all the location, elevation, and power information. I checked today and the ride was NOT uploaded to Garmin Connect and does not appear on my Edge 810 either.

Where did it go??? The data was obviously recorded as it was all there on the live activity page and I had the average power and lap data on the Edge while I was doing the ride...but now there is no trace of it. Any idea what happened? I'd really like to have this data as it was a 90 mile ride and I did some interval work that I'd like to see and keep track of.
  • Using an SD card recovery tool the activity was there on the card and then the Edge overwrote it when it booted up after plugging it into the computer. This 810 has some cool features, but is by far the most unreliable Garmin device I have owned...wishing I hadn't sold my 800.
  • Sounds like you are letting your data be uploaded to GC from your phone. I've seen other posts that seem to indicate Garmin frequently has some issues with activities from such uploads getting posted to GC in a timely manner. So it might be a matter of just being patient. However, if you upload via the usb cable directly to GC, you should see your ride immediately.
